not only... but also (both notable)

もさることながら means that while the first is certainly true, the second deserves even more attention. Attach it to a noun. Both items are positively notable; it directs focus to the second without dismissing the first.

  Aji mo saru koto nagara, kono mise wa fun'iki ga ii.

  The taste aside, this restaurant also has a great atmosphere.

  Jitsuryoku mo saru koto nagara, kare wa doryokuka da.

  His ability aside, he is also a hard worker.
